Fabric Phone Case

I got a new phone recently and didn't want to scratch the screen so I made a fabric phone case. Lots of people saw it and loved it so I ended up making quite a few :)

SpongeBob Cushion

This is a cushion I recently made for someone special to me. I have used bonder web and blanket stitch to appliqué the design. Its been a challenge but I've really enjoyed making it.

Harry Potter Cushion

This is a Harry Potter cushion that I designed myself. I used a thick calico for the base as it makes a nice skin colour. Then I used bonder web to attach the fabric shapes. I used a blanket stitch on my sewing machine to make the edges neater and to make sure its all secure. I really love this cushion and am currently coming up with more designs like this.

Handmade Beach Bag

Im off on my holidays soon and needed a beach bag. I didn't want to buy one so I made my own. I wanted it quite big to fit all my beach things in and I wanted big inside pockets. I choose a stripy cotton fabric and used a thick calico on the inside.

The pockets go right across on both side and one is divided into two smaller pockets ready for my suncream and book.

Crochet Sunglasses Case

My sunglasses are always getting scratched in my handbag and kept having to be replaced. I made this very simple crochet case to solve my problem.

Russian Doll Cushion

This is a machine embroidered cushion that I made recently. I used a fabric pen to draw on the design, its a special pen that washes off. It took me a while to embroider because there are a lot of colours and its quite a big cushion. I have used calico on the front and a purple cotton for the back.

Crochet blanket

I finally finished my crochet blanket. Its a neat ripple blanket and the pattern I followed is on the link at the bottom. Its double bed size but I keep it in the living room as its perfect to cuddle up on the sofa with. It took me a few months to finish and I have already started a new blanket.
